It is an authorised nominating body under the Construction Contracts Act 2002 (CCA) and maintains a panel of highly skilled, respected and experienced adjudicators who can assist with the resolution of all building and construction disputes.

Building Disputes Tribunal is the only authorised nominating body under the Construction Contracts Act 2002 that provides a complete adjudication service from nomination through to determination and maintains a panel of highly skilled, respected and experienced adjudicators who are leaders in construction dispute resolution in New Zealand and,unlike other nominating bodies, it does not charge any nomination or service fee to the parties.
