Building Disputes Tribunal provides a comprehensive service for parties to a building or construction dispute  in New Zealand at no cost to the parties.  The types of disputes referred to the Tribunal range from relatively simple disputes involving sums of just a few thousand dollars up to highly complicated disputes involving millions of dollars.

• 24/7 access to this website which includes up-to-date information about the practices and procedures for the resolution of building and construction disputes in NZ including those arising under the Construction Contracts Act 2002;
• Access to all the documents you need to comply with the regime for the making and responding to payment claims under the Construction Contracts Act;
• Access to all the documents you need for adjudication under the Act and User Guides to assist with the completion and use of those documents to resolve disputes.
  
• Access to our experienced Registrars who provide advice and guidance on Adjudication and the other alternative dispute resolution processes that the Tribunal offers at no cost to the parties
• Nomination of adjudicators from the Tribunal's highly respected panel of adjudicators
• Appointment of experienced Arbitrators to conduct arbitration's pursuant to the Arbitration Act 1996
• Selection and appointment of mediators, facilitators and experts.
• The only fixed fee adjudication service for claims of less than $50,000 of limited complexity
