Over the past 20 years Anet has worked in dispute resolution delivery, design and teaching. Her roles have included barrister (commercial litigation, civil common law: family and employment, construction, energy), mediator, adjudicator, conciliator, conflict coach, and dispute consultant.

She has taught mediation, negotiation, and advanced family law. As a practicing barrister-mediator, Anet conducts lawyer-led mediations in the family court, and mediates in workplace, ACC, health & disability, construction, weathertight homes, general civil, and commercial disputes.

Anet coaches trainee mediators, assesses mediators for accreditation and offers conflict coaching for individuals in workplace matters, having been involved in more than 3,000 disputes.

Anet has presented internationally in effective communication, mediation theory and practice, in NZ, Australia, and the US.
