David Carden is an Auckland barrister and has now had many appointments as adjudicator under the Construction Contracts Act 2002. He is a Fellow of the Arbitrators' and Mediators' Institute of NZ Inc in both arbitration and mediation areas and is on the AMINZ Panels of Arbitrators and Mediators. David is on the Advanced LEADR Panel of Mediators. He has been for 3.5 years an adjudicator under the Weathertight Homes Resolution Services Act 2002 having dealt with 82 appointments in adjudication claims. David is also on the Adjudicators Panel under the Retirement Villages Act 2002 and on the Mediators Panel for .nz domain name mediations.

David's experience as an advocate has extended over the years since his admission to the Bar and includes membership of the Faculty of the Advanced Litigation Skills Programme of NZLS.
